2011.
No-one probably reads this but hey ho, I’ll write anyway.
So 2011 is almost over. Literally cannot believe it, and the amount of stuff that has happened this year; all for the best obviously.
Well, to begin with, I actually hated 2011. Certain people who I am now thankfully rid of were pissing me off. And I’m actually glad I’ve seen the back of some people (although they massively need to grow up).
I’ve made so many new friends this year, and gotten to know both close and old friends, and without sounding too cheesy or soppy, a big part of 2011 has to be my gimo of a boyfriend, Dan :) ..who I cannot wait to see tomorrow for new years!
Uni life..I am halfway through my entire uni experience. That is the most depressing thing ever. I literally don’t want to leave uni, I love it so so much; even if it is Stoke. I love the student life, I love my friends there, I love my course; going to Staffordshire uni was the best decision of my life, and I wouldn’t change it for the world. First year was just amazing, I couldn’t have wished for a better first year at uni. I loved my modules (and the fact I actually passed!). Although second year is obviously harder, I’ve still loved it so far, and I’ve loved getting to know more people. That’s what it’s all about..you just need to make the most of your time at uni, and enjoy it to the full!
So..can 2012 top 2011 for me? It’ll be hard to beat, but I’d like to think it can! Already got good things lined up; Westlife, Michael McIntyre, and hopefully the chance to go to America over the summer..I so hope I get to go, it’ll be amazing!
I never make new years resolutions (or actually keep to them), but I think I’ve picked some realistic ones that I’d like to keep to for 2012;
-Don’t take things to heart or too seriously..it’s not the person I am; I like a good laugh.
-Be able to make decisions..I am shit at doing so!
-Don’t spend too much on clothes!..I have a wardrobe which can’t even shut..I think that’s a sign for me too cut down on the shopping (once I hit the January sales of course!)
-Don’t over think or analyse situations too much..you create problems in your head which don’t need to be there.
-Have fun, laugh and just live for the moment and the present, not the past or the future. Enjoy it.
Happy New Year anyone reading this..hope it’s a good one for you :) XXX
